Sweet stove-top popcorn (Mary)

1/4 cup oil

1/4 cup sugar

½ cup popcorn

In a pan on the stove combine ingredients and pop like you would regular stove-top popcorn.

Play dough (Mary)

2 small packages unsweetened cool-aid (the cool-aid is what gives the play dough its color so choose the color you want.

3 c. flour

½ c. salt

1 tablespoon alum (I have never used this)

3 tablespoons oil

2 c. boiling water

Dilly Beans (Mom)

Cook long skinny green beans 10 minutes. Pack lengthwise in pint jars.

To each pint add:

¼ tsp. cayanne pepper

1 tsp dill seed

1 small clove of garlic

Boil together:

1 qt apple cider vinegar

1 qt water

½ cup salt (non iodized)

pour over beans. Seal and cold pack 5 minutes.
