Chocolate Hostess Cupcakes (Mary)

1 chocolate cake mix

- make as directed on cake mix except substitute water for milk and

add:

1 cup sour cream

1 small package dry chocolate pudding

bake as directed on cake mix, let cool.

Butter Cream frosting (for filling and white squiggly on top)

1/3 cup butter softened

1/4 cup cream or evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 cups powdered sugar

Blend together. Reserve ½ cup for top and thin with ½ teaspoon milk.

With a cake decorator squeeze cream into cupcake through the top of the cupcake.

Gnash (chocolate frosting part)

2/3 cup heavy whipping cream

6 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Heat cream in saucepan until hot but not boiling. Add chips and melt. Let sit for 5 minutes and spoon onto cupcake. After it has cooled on cupcake add the butter cream swirl to the top.
