Francie's Sweet Potatoes (Tami)

Cook 5 large yams 1 hour, baked or boiled

Peel when cool. Then slice and place in a 9x13 pan. Pour sauce over the potatoes. Bake at 325’ for 40 minutes.

Sauce:

2/3 brown sugar

3 tbsp corn starch

¼ cup butter

2 cup water

2 tsp lemon juice

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir until thickened.
